OnSite Leather Care offers custom-tailored solutions to your unique leather problems. The list to the right outlines many of the situations we see on a daily basis. We perform basic cleaning and conditioning services as well as complete restorations when necessary. After an initial phone consultation we will be happy to schedule an appointment to come to your home
or office to give you a firm quote. When scheduling consultations we arrange to have sufficient time to do the work at that time.
Outline of the leather restoration process
The first step in restoration is surface preparation. This helps to remove accumulated dirt, oils, and stains and opens up the leather to take new dye. Next, we use a hand applied 2- to 5-step dyeing process using custom color-matched dyes. We do not recommend a complete color change. However, depending upon the original color, we can deepen or enrich the color. Finally, a leather conditioner is applied to seal the surface and the leather is buffed to a satin sheen.

OnSite Leather Care is privately owned and operated by Jeff Benight, a Colorado native. After many years in the restaurant industry, Jeff embarked on a new career in the art and craft of leather furniture repair. With over fourteen years' experience in restoring and repairing leather furniture Jeff can accurately assess the condition of your furniture and will give you an honest answer as to whether or not it can be successfully restored. He enjoys working to achieve the "WOW" factor that occurs when people see their furniture revitalized beyond their expectations. A graduate of DU, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, hiking and, on occasion, being a couch potato. (It's a leather couch, of course!)
